The popular education is a way of independent learning, opposite to formal system education. This alternative consist in try to change the common sense of certain communities through the process of community work. This process needs to count with a massive participation, because the interactions among the subjects produce the real process of learning, that is, a solid and significant learning. The possibility of share our experience, allows us share all of knowledge acquired over time.
In contrast to the formal system education, the subjects are understood collectively, and not as separate persons. The activities are realized by joint works and every persons is important to the process. The ability to learn collectively supposes the participation of the community in the creation of cultural values and new forms to relate with others. That is to say, the popular education it is
proposed transform the basis of the society and provide solutions to
resolve conflicts of your own life communally.
